If you haven't done so already, discover the miracle that is a fitness ball! In this 30-minute session, I'll lead you through a series of exercises that will give you a relaxing, yet energizing, total body workout, while simultaneously preparing you for a beginner ballet class.
With this workout we'll work your turnout, activate your feet and stabilizing leg and core muscles, and even do some backbends, all while introducing you to variations on plies, developes, envelopes, battements, rond-de-jambes, and so much more. You'll also start to build a dancer's body, with long, lean legs, a sculpted derriere, and even a whittled waist.
Practice this session 2-3 times a week, and you'll be able to step up to the barre before you know it!
Please note that this class requires the use of one larger-sized fitness ball. Please buy one according to your height beforehand.
